This app is exactly what I was looking for: an easy way to catalogue and remember the books I already own and the ones I want to buy. 5 stars and good job!

It would be nice if you could add a manual way to enter the series a book is in if it doesnt already say what series its in

Absolutely love this app! Granted, its the only personal library app Ive tried, but there are very few things Id change if I could! The scanning feature is awesome and works on 99% of the books I have that have a barcode. The others are a simple ISBN entry. The search function is easy, and there are so many ways to catalog your books. As a collector, the only feature I wish I could add would be a category to distinguish the different books amongst the specific collections and the ability to then search by that description. I also wish the wish list could suggest books for you to add based on what is in your current library. Other than that, this app is wonderful and I highly recommend it!

I needed a way to keep track of all the books in our house. With 4 kids and all of them avid readers, books are always being added to our collection. However, I hate spending money on books that I already have. So in order to prevent us buying books that we already had, I got this app to keep track. Now when Im out and about and I come across a book sale, I can check our home library first.

If you like to read paper books, this is an app you must have. Always with me- dont have to guess whether I have that book or not. Still new to using it so I havent any suggestions at this point, but I already wish Id had it years ago.

In the past, Ive created spreadsheets manually of the books in my collection, but with my familys thousands of books now spread across several households, I couldnt possibly keep up. I also love that it is a living database affected by its users, so any books that perhaps werent known by others are now documented somewhere where they might be found!

Can the books be sorted by topic themes? Such as ocean, alphabet, numbers, insects, farm.... When I purchased the app I was mislead by "themes" offered w the 5.99 upgrade. Themes meaning change the color of tab... Not a useful upgrade to be promoting.

I love this app! Granted, it is the only library sorting out that I have tried; it is (almost) everything in which I was hoping to catalog and organize my books. I love that you can also include your kindle/e-books and you are library, but I would like to be able to include my Kindle/ebook library in an easier way than by manually typing the titles. Or, am I able to do that? **UPDATE** Also, I m very interested in DLing a movie/music organizer; but, I dont want to pay $5.99 for each. I would love it if there was a set price for like 3 and 4 apps...

You can only scan 10 books on the free app, which is kind of a waste of time, imo. After that, you have to pay $6 for the full app. Why not just put it out there as a paid at to begin with? I will say though, it worked really well for the 10 books I scanned.

The app doesnt load properly, if at all. Does not respond to any touch commands. How do I get my money back?

I started to put my books in to keep track of what I have and 7 book in it lets me know I have to buy the $5.99 version to load any more. Who has 7 books? Seriously what a waste of my time.

I use another inventory app for DVDs (My Movies 2-- excellent!) and this seemed to have all of the desired (similar) features to catalog my books. I paid for the "pro" version to unlock the desirable features (virtually all necessary to make the app even useful). Imagine my surprise when I found that few work properly. I did a test with 50 books. The scanner did not recognize 19 of them. I constantly got a message stating the barcode "may not be unique to this book" (which seems unlikely, as it is my understanding that all UPC barcodes are unique) and I needed to enter the ISBN manually. (There is no way to add letters, which some ISBNs include, unless you go back to the main add menu and re-select "Manual ISBN.") Even at that, some were still not recognized, so I had to use the "Database Search." This also failed for several, so I had to manually enter info. In some cases even when a title was recognized, vital info (like author) was missing, requiring me to manually add it to be able to save. (There is no provision for adding an Editor rather than author for compilations and such.) Titles of many pre-barcode editions of books, even well known classics, frequently dont come up in a search. "Bulk Camera Scan," one of the main reasons I paid to upgrade, is virtually useless. Yes, it will scan batches, but frequently attempts to scan an item twice immediately, and gives you error messages stating "Title is already in your library." Even worse, in cases where the barcode "may not be unique" it doesnt bother to let you know that, and simply adds something random, rather than the correct title, to your library. Of course, there is no way to determine this unless you go through the entire library to find erroneous and missing titles, as there is no way to check prior to batch save. Either the app doesnt recognize barcodes/ISBNs/titles properly or the database is extremely poor. Possibly both. If the features in this app worked as advertised it would be convenient, nicely laid out and easy to use. As it stands, I cannot risk entering any more books. I have a library of thousands, and without a functioning bulk scan (not to mention searches and manual entries of potentially 40% of my books, based on my test group) it would take weeks if not months to create a workable inventory. If the problems get fixed, well see. If you have a small library, or dont mind entering half of your titles manually, then this app might be fine. If you have a serious library and need an accurate, easily entered inventory, this just doesnt cut it. Close, but no cigar.

It stopped scanning at 128 and now it wont let me log back in...it keeps telling me that my login information is incorrect and also my email is not in the system...I want my money back

This app is awesome I read a lot and its sometimes tough to remember all the books Ive read. This app allows you to keep track of your books. Rate them and if you want to lend them you can easily keep track of who you lend your books too. I would not pay extra for the bulk camera scan if I could turn back time. It will scan a book but if the scan does not recognize the book it will not alert you and then you have to go back and scan the books one at a time anyway to insure they all were scanned in

Half of the books I have cannot be recognized through this app. The seem to have insufficient database to cover the books in the market.

I have over 800 book and need a way to catalog them all in one easy to access place. Because one more time then I care to mention I have bought duplicate copies of books. This was the best solution what I found on the App Store. My only complaint is sometimes it app around 2 am wont load or locks up. It also sometimes takes forever to load my books. Other in those few complaints I have I absolutely love this app.

We are moving and have found the app handy in cataloging our books. We will know where our reference books for our job are being stored.

I had to upgrade to the paid version soon after I started using it. I noted a number of errors in the database and you can make no edits to any selected book using the free version. Otherwise its very good. I did quit using the "Mass Add" feature since it was too time consuming to then go back and check each book to ensure no problems. So I just add books one at a time which works well.

An avid reader who needed an app to organize all of the books read. This app is perfect for a person to see the authors read and the books enjoyed. Its like having a library all your own! Love this app.

I absolutely love this app. Its everything Ive been looking for. Its great for managing your existing collection (which I really need, as I have a habit of buying the same books over and over again), as well as adding books to the database if they arent already there, adding photos and managing the info, sorting, personal writings, and more. This app is fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.
