I do not have another program to compare this to. I have just been loading books. Although some books are in the database many are not. Authors do not seem to validate to any source. I would like more ways to sort, more categories, an easy way to standardize author name, publication date with just the year. I am going to keep loading.

I love this app! So far I have placed over 500 of my childrens books in it. Some times the app does not recognize the books but if I close it and come back it will then pull them up. Some have not been there but majority of them have. Also, my pictures do not always sync with my windows app. This app is great as it is intended a place to keep a record of your books. Some things I would like to see: 1. the ability to place reading levels in the app. As a mom of 4 on different reading levels, I would love to be able to sort the books by reading levels. As a teacher this too would help for my classroom. 2. The ability to keep track of which books each family member has read. Currently, we can place the date they were last read but not by whom. 3. A place for the series #.

As a future teacher I am able to categorize my books by personal, teaching and classroom. Great way to build my classroom library!!!

So far this app works great. Anyone with a book collection of any size (especially large like mine) will utilize this app every day.

The app continuously has problems with the barcodes requesting that I manually enter each isbn number after scanning. On top of that half my books are recognized as different titles all together. I scanned Jordans wheel of time series but the software saw it as martins ASOIAF, didnt realize that until i tried to scan those. For an app as expensive as this one (5.99) youd think better work would have been completed. Completely disappointed.

The app needs work. I would scan books and sometimes it would read it and sometimes it wouldnt and then other times it would be the wrong book all together and then I went to scan other books and told me that they were already scanned and they are not there and a lot of my books have disappeared and a lot are not in my list and then I had the app in the list form and then I wanted it in the bookshelf form and it doesnt stay in the bookshelf form it goes back to the list form. I think that the app itself needs help. Plus one of the faq questions asks if we needed to email you for some reason it told us where to look and its not where they said it is.

Before committing to a purchase of the full app, I thought Id give it a try and compare it to a few other book database apps in iOS, and then choose the winner amongst them. With this app I particularly liked the "shelf" view, and probably would have purchased based on that alone, but I wanted to see how it worked with 40-50 books. Unfortunately, the lite version only allows for you to upload 4 books (which is a vastly smaller amount than all the other app previews on the market). Its a bit insulting, really, especially since this is one of the more "expensive" book database apps out there. Anyone looking into an app that will house the information of their personal libraries will want to see which app works best for them, and this app doesnt even allow for it (Im chalking it up to general greed or lack of common sense). Wish I couldve really tried it out, Id probably have bought it, but I hate risking disappointment.

Free version limits you to scanning in only 8 books.

Has worked fine for me. I have a lot of older books thats not on the list but otherwise have liked it.

Paid for the full version well worth it.

Was at a book sale had pulled up my list of books, the app times out and when I clicked back on it for my list it was gone. Completely blank and was as if I had never entered a book when there were more than 500 in my list!

The secondary sort makes this app the only one that would do what I wanted, sort by storage location, then author. Its great for classroom use.

Ive been looking for a library catalog app after almost losing a book I loaned to a subordinate and could not remember who had it. I wanted to easily catalog my books and see who had borrowed my books when I needed it back. After trying a few version, I decided on this app, which I somewhat regret. What I like about the app is that I can easily see which books are loaned out and who has them. It connects to my contacts, so I always know I have contact information for who has borrowed my books. The first challenge I find is that when doing bulk import, when the barcode is ambiguous, you are not notified and you do not get verification of which book is being added to your library. This is more of an issue with bulk imports, but I have a large library and need to get everything in eventually. The other issue I have is that a number of my religious books are not in the catalog, so I have to enter them manually. I would have expected a connection to Amazon or the Library of Congress so I would not have to enter as much information. A small issue, which might not be a big issue for everyone is that I cannot easily separate my home and office libraries. It can easily be done one at a time, but not with bulk imports, which is challenging for when I am building my library.

This is a great app. I have a lot of books. This helps me keep them organized, in order, and a place to store my wish list for future buys. I love this app!

Im not buying the same book twice. I have my library on my phone. I dont need my iMac like another app I used before. I can add my book right at Barnes&Noble. Glad to pay the $5

This was a waste of time! If youre only going to allow me to add 4 books to an inventory and then try to make me pay to upgrade to add more I dont know who would be dum enough to pay for it!

It only let me load 8 books from my collection before it said I had to pay to load anymore:( why would anyone pay for it?

Im fascinated with the ease I can up load all my books. In less than 1hour I was able to scan 48 books. I was able to troubleshoot quick and fast when I encounter any problems. The support service is excellent. I recommend it to everyone
